So here we are posting our first blog entry. I can't wait to be able to share stories and pictures of Charlotte once she arrives, but for now I will just practice my blogging skills and get the site up to snuff.
I am officially 28 weeks along and at my most recent checkup the doctor said I was measuring "a little big." Thus, I have created the "How big do you think Charlotte will be?" poll. Just a hint...I wouldn't vote for the 5-7lbs option. Also had the glucose test - had to drink a lovely orange "soda" and get my blood drawn. No results are in yet, but I am hoping I don't have to go back for the 3 hour version of this test. We are also scheduled to go for another follow-up ultrasound next week. Here's hoping that Charlotte's kidneys have worked out their issues, but if not we'll just get her checked out when she enters the real world. I'm looking at the bright side - I get a few more pictures of her!
We are slowly crossing things off of our baby to-do list. Nursery is painted (pink of course), we got the carpets cleaned today, i've called and checked on the furniture (crib and changing table are in, waiting on the glider), registered at babies r us and pottery barn kids, and the closet is full of clothes (a few purchased by me, most by Nana and Grandma (not sure if this will be her name or not, we haven't talked about this yet!)). Perhaps this could be another poll question??
