First Haircut

Well, Charlotte didn't really NEED a haircut, but it was getting a little scraggly in the back. This weekend we decided to head up to the mall and pay a visit to Cartoon Cuts. For those that are not familiar with this establishment, it is basically hair cuttery for little kids - TVs playing cartoons in front of every chair, an elephant that washes your hair, video games, etc. Oh, and the cutest thing - baby-sized capes! We figured it was a popular destination on a Saturday morning, so we got there right when it opened. I signed Charlotte in and we only had to wait a few minutes.

I figured it would be best for Charlotte to sit on my lap, so I got to have my very own cape too! She was quite unsure at first, and even Dora on the TV wasn't enough. So, we had to deploy Elmo on the iPhone. She did pretty well overall though, with only a few worried looks. It wasn't a dramatic change, just a trim. Hopefully it will encourage her hair to grow a little faster!
